| First American Home Buyers Protection provides: |
| BUDGET PROTECTION |
We want you to feel confident and secure knowing that you are
protected against potentially huge repair bills when a covered system or
appliance fails in your home. Should a covered system or appliance fail, you
will feel comfortable knowing that, in most cases, you’ll only pay a nominal
service call fee per trade call*.
| REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT** |
Unlike standard home service contracts that offer "repair
only" coverage, First American will replace any covered system or appliance
that we can’t repair. In 2008, we spent over $125 million dollars to repair or replace
covered systems and appliances nationwide.
* The Service Call Fee varies from $50 to $100 and is paid
directly to the technician upon arrival to your home. The company warrants its
work for 30 days. In some instances, you may incur additional costs. Please
read your contract for specific coverage and limitations.
** In some instances, Homeowner and Company may agree on payment of cash in
lieu of repair or replacement. Payment will be made based on Company’s
negotiated rates with its suppliers, which may be less than retail.
| TOLL-FREE SERVICE NUMBER, AVAILABLE 24 HOURS A DAY |
No more frustration trying to reach a service contractor
during non-business hours. We provide you with a toll-free number, available 24
hours a day, 365 days a year to place service calls.
| FIRST AMERICAN SAVES YOU TIME AND MONEY |
| Our home warranty will save you the time and trouble of
having to find a reputable contractor. Not only do we do the legwork for you,
but, as the chart shows, your warranty can save you hundreds and possibly
thousands of dollars on your repair or replacement bills. |
